Probably unique in Thailand, this world war 2 Dodge has a straight 6 side valve petrol engine, twin rear wheels and a complete cab (doors now being rebuilt).

The timber body is in remarkably good condition and the whole vehicle is approx. 7 meters long. In service, this bus operated the Chiang Mai - Lampang - Chiang Rai route and was commandeered for some time by the Japanese army.

1967 Ford Cortina Mk 11 Estate Car. A very unusual and original car here in Thailand with a unique history.

This is a car which is very easy to run and maintain. This car - with the optimum 1600cc engine - is still all-Ford and has spent it's whole working life in this area.

Rich in history, it was the first 2-wheel-drive car to traverse the 'new road' from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai in 1967! It took it's one careful owner from Chiang Mai to the Salween River when 33 river and stream crossings had to be made!

The car is mechanically good but needs body restoration as you can see. The column change and front bench seat may be seen as a draw-back by some, but no-one's going to object if you changed that!
